From a living room idea to a way of life
Sweepsouth didn’t begin in a boardroom. It began in a living room, with an idea to solve a problem many households experience: to make it easier for people to find trusted help at home while creating opportunities for those providing the service. It became about dignity. About building a platform where technology could unlock meaningful work and real impact.
What started as a platform for home cleaning has grown over the years into a trusted services brand supporting thousands of households across South Africa. From cleaning to laundry and ironing, supervised childcare and more, Sweepsouth has continued to evolve alongside the needs of families.

And just as importantly, the SweepStars who make it all possible.
From the beginning, Sweepsouth recognised an opportunity to create more than just jobs. It was about building pathways to dignified, flexible work opportunities. As co-founders Aisha Pandor and Alen Ribic envisioned, the platform exists to support both sides of the home: those who need help, and those who provide it.
