How To Clean Glass Shower Doors

3. Using a soft sponge or a microfibre cloth, scrub your shower doors all over until clean, applying pressure for scrubbing tough soap scum. Wipe off the cleaning mixture with a microfibre cloth or a soft sponge that won’t scratch the glass.

1. Mix the juice of 3 lemons with a cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray your shower door and wait for 5 minutes.
2. Wipe the glass with a microfibre cloth to get rid of stains, then dry the glass with a clean cloth.
3. Alternatively, you can dip half of a cut lemon in baking soda and rub the lemon over the glass shower doors to clean them. Rinse off with water.

4. Cleaning Glass Shower Doors With Ammonia

If you want to use ammonia on your glass shower doors, you should open the bathroom windows or turn a fan on for ventilation, and make sure to wear rubber gloves before you start. Never mix ammonia with bleach as this can create toxic fumes. Follow these 3 easy steps:

1. Mix 1 part of ammonia with 3 parts of water and pour the mixture into an empty spray bottle.
2. Spray the glass and scrub the shower door while it’s damp with a bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
3. If there are more streaks than built-up soap scum, combine 2 litres of water and 2 tablespoons of ammonia. Using distilled water can help prevent hard water spots. Spray the mixture onto the glass and wait for 5 minutes, then wipe dry with a clean microfibre cloth.
